DAILY PERSONAL GROWTH SESSIONS: LEARN TO CULTIVATE REST
Experience daily group coaching sessions in which you will find space to get curious about what a rested life means for you during December and beyond. More ease in your days? More energy? More space to be present, dream, and enjoy? Better relationships with yourself and others? Create a vision for a RESTED, ENERGIZED YOU and then take steps toward creating that vision as you:

DAILY YOGA SESSIONS
Come to your mat several times daily in the amazing yoga dome to find movement, release, playfulness and stillness. You will enjoy practices that are suitable for all bodies and levels, leaving your mat feeling refreshed in your body and calm in your mind. Yin and restorative practices will be the focus of your time on the mat as you deepen your connection to rest, but flow and hatha elements will be incorporated into morning practices as we greet the day.
DAILY GUIDED MEDITATION/PRAYER AND YOGA NIDRA
Settle into those quiet spaces where you connect with your soul as you are offered space and contemplative words with which to do so. You are welcomed and encouraged to practice from a place that resonates for you.
REFLECTIVE GUIDED WALK (weather permitting)
A beautiful walk in the woods lies at your doorstep. Explore this walk through guided reflection, or choose to embrace this walk in your own reflective space if that offers a more restorative and restful experience for you.
NOURISHING VEGETARIAN MEALS
You will enjoy nourishing, delicious meals each day, beginning with dinner on Friday evening and ending with brunch on Sunday. Special dietary needs and requests will be happily accommodated.
Bowen Island is a short ferry ride from the mainland, but arrival on the island instantly

TWO ONLINE GROUP COACHING SESSIONS (prior to the retreat weekend)

As the leaves fall and animals retreat we take our queue from nature to SURRENDER INWARD. So much about the ancient practices are about returning to nature – within and without.
SURRENDER INWARD brings us to sweet communion with nature on the grounds of Bowen Island for four days and three nights of attention to movement, breathing, resting, and being.
In Ayurveda, autumn is the season of vata- when the element of air is strongest. With Chinese Medicine, fall time is dominated by the organ systems of the lungs and skin. Both of these traditions emphasize the quality of breath through the skin and lungs as we draw inward towards winter. It is vital to enter ancient practices at times when they are most potent.
Days will begin and end with asana, qigong, meditation and Nidra to ignite the body with nourishing breath. You’ll enjoy space to savour sumptuous meals, laughter to ease the spirit, and moments to tune in to the wisdom of your nature. Shed the unnecessary and fill the chambers of your heart. Pain pushes until purpose pulls. Life’s stages and experiences can be mapped through a series of waves, like tide, with high points and low. Revival of the Spirit is a weekend dedicated to understanding the relevance of both the crest and the trough of life’s waves, utilizing the tool of Life Mapping, a theory developed from eastern philosophy, to understand the importance of what you’ve come through, where you are now and where you aim to go – while strategizing how to get there.
Soak yourself in the nature surrounding Nectar Yoga BnB. Located on Bowen Island, your weekend home is an easy getaway from Vancouver. Nectar is known for its signature Geodesic Yoga Dome where you will receive daily meditation and yoga (asana) practice, Yoga Nidra, and the Life Mapping workshop (lecture series complimented with curated writing topics).
